Kelly Cowlin

Kelly Cowlin brings nearly twenty years of experience practicing law with a diverse background and considerable practical knowledge to her role as associate attorney.  Kelly has experience representing both employees and employers which enables her to provide valuable counsel regarding employment related matters and disputes.

Kelly attended St. Norbert College in DePere, Wisconsin, graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration.  After graduation, she moved to the Chicagoland area where she has remained ever since.  Kelly attended DePaul University College of Law where she graduated in the top fifteen percent of her class.

After graduating law school, Kelly joined a Chicago law firm with a primary practice in litigation and employment law.  Kelly joined S.T. Legal Group after working as a solo practitioner for many years, where she focused primarily on transactional law including advising local businesses and reviewing employment and severance agreements for her clients.  Kelly is licensed to practice in Illinois as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Her combined knowledge and practical skill give her a unique view of employment related matters and the ability to address client’s concerns creatively and effectively.
